U.S.G.A. provides update on USWO parking and access

For the sake of clarity and in response to questions from the public, the United States Golf Association and the Open tournament committee issued the following statement Monday:
Complimentary parking and shuttle transportation will be provided to and from Lancaster Country Club for all spectators. For the week of the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open Championship, all GENERAL SPECTATORS and VOLUNTEERS traveling by car and not assigned (i.e. provided) a specific parking lot permit hangtag should follow instructions to Park City Center (142 Park City Center, Lancaster, PA 17601) beginning Monday, July 6 through Sunday, July 12. General ticket holders are highly encouraged to carpool with more than two persons per car as much as possible. Directions to Park City Center are included in the official 2015 U. S. Women’s Open Spectator Guide that can be found under the Event Info section of www.2015uswomensopen.com.

Shuttles will run continuously beginning at 6:00 a.m. EST Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 10, and beginning a half hour later (6:30 a.m.) on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12.
For spectators with disabilities, hard surface parking will be available at Park City Center. Lift accessible ADA parking and transportation services will be provided from the Burle Business Park, (1000 New Holland Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601). Disabled and wheel-bound spectators and their traveling companions are encouraged to review the Disabled Spectators section of the official Spectator Guide for further instructions and/or contact the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open championship office at 717-406-365 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, or by sending email requests for assistance to info@2015uswomensopen.com.

There is no spectator or disabled parking in the immediate vicinity of Lancaster Country Club, and spectators are highly encouraged to stay clear of the immediate area in and around the club due to road closures and detour routes in place daily for commuter traffic. There is no assigned bicycle parking planned for Lancaster Country Club. Bicycles may not be brought on-site at Lancaster Country Club, Calvary Church, Lancaster Bible College, Burle Business Park and Conestoga Valley High School are permit (hangtag) only private parking lots for the championship. No permit (hangtag), no vehicle entry. All vehicles will require an assigned 2015 U.S. Women’s Open official hangtag. All permits (hangtags) have been assigned. Hangtags are not available and cannot be requested.
