We all love a souvenir.
At the U.S. Women’s Open, those souvenirs range from a metal ball marker for $2, all the way up to original framed artwork by local artist Liz Hess for $695.
Visit the Merchandise Pavilion, not far from the 18th green and the main entrance at the Lancaster Country Club, and you might be surprised.
First, “pavilion” is somewhat of a misnomer for the facility. The 8,000-square-foot facility is air-conditioned and carpeted, and looks and feels like a large boutique or small department store.
With its lighted displays, fully stocked clothing racks and shelved goods, the store is easy to shop and there are lots of things for the golf aficionado, or just the casual souvenir hunter.
The store is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Here are some choices:
The bargain
$2 buys you a metal ball marker. $3 buys you a golf ball.
Small, lightweight and practical, these pocket-friendly souvenirs are located by the cash register for those last-minute impulse buys.
