Daily practice and championship round tickets to the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open will be available to the public starting April 3.

Anyone interested in buying tickets to the tournament — being hosted July 6-12 at Lancaster Country Club — should visit 2015uswomensopen.com/tickets while inventory remains.

“Our plan was to release a number of daily tickets for people throughout the region who are interested in only daily tickets because they want to make a day trip” to the tournament, Barry Deach, championship director of the 2015 Open, said in a statement.

“Many of them even plan to take public transportation because of the convenience,” he said.

A practice round daily ticket is $20 and provides one admission to the grounds for one day, July 6-8. A championship round daily ticket is $45 and covers one of the four rounds, July 9-12. Those who purchase tickets commit themselves to a specific day.

Once the tickets are available, “it will make this landmark event even more accessible for day trippers from around the region, especially with other modes of transportation like Amtrak,” Deach said in the release.

“Due to demand, we’ll monitor the number of daily tickets sold very closely, and we will adjust inventory as needed to ensure our commitment to a major championship experience is consistent.”

The 2015 U.S. Women’s Open will be the first USGA event played at Lancaster Country Club and the 83rd to take place in Pennsylvania.
