The 70th U.S. Women’s Open is being held at Lancaster Country Club this week.

Here are what other papers are writing about the course:

Frank Fitzpatrick of Philly.com has praise for the “Old school” course and its 95-year-old layout designed by William Flynn.

Fitzpatrick quotes tournament director Ben Kimball saying, “In my opinion, this is a top-five course in Pennsylvania.”

Michelle Wie also likes the course, reports Gary Haber of the the York Daily Record. Haber writes that Wie said, the course “offers a little taste of everything.”
